International Vaping Exhibition
Once again, Vapitaly confirms its role as a hub for dialogue and in-depth analysis, in addition to being an international showcase for the vaping industry. The ninth edition of Vapitaly, scheduled from 10 to 12 May 2025, at Pavilion 18 of BolognaFiere, will feature two key events dedicated to harm reduction and the evolution of sector regulations.
These sessions will provide scientific, regulatory and institutional insights, bringing together academics, researchers, institutional representatives, trade associations, and specialized media.

Harm Reduction: the state of scientific research in Italy
The program will start on Sunday, 11 May with a debate on the present and future of harm reduction in Italy. Taking the stage will be faculty members from the University of Catania and researchers from CoEHAR – Center of Excellence for the acceleration of Harm Reduction, a leading international hub for independent vaping research.
Moderated by journalist Barbara Mennitti (editorial coordinator of Sigmagazine), the panel will include:

• Davide Campagna, Head of the Diasmoke Project

Regulations and outlook: a discussion with institutions
The final day of the event, dedicated entirely to the B2B world, will begin with a key session focused on current regulations and the potential developments tied to upcoming European directives on tobacco and excise duties.
Moderated by Stefano Caliciuri, Editor-in-Chief of Sigmagazine, the panel will include representatives from industry associations (manufacturers and retailers) in dialogue with top officials from Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli (ADM), the regulatory authority for the sector.
Institutional contributions are also expected from national political representatives, making this a pivotal moment for the industry's future.
